1. Cala Agulla (Artá)
This long sandy beach, located in an idyllic setting of mountains, pine trees and crystal clear waters, is an ideal place for families to spend a fun time at the beach. Very popular in summer, this cove has the advantage of being protected and declared a Natural Area of Special Interest (NASI) and Site of Community Interest (SCI), which means that it is not overly urbanized.
2. Es Trenc (Colònia de Sant Jordi)
Very long beach of fine white sand, bordered by the Natural Park of Es Trenc-Salobrar, this beach offers an exceptional panorama of the sunset. A magical setting, surrounded by pine trees and salt marshes, it is the perfect beach to spend a lazy day on the beach or in the crystal clear waters.
3. Sa Calobra (Escorca)
Wedged between two cliffs, mythical end of the Torrent de Pareis, this spot in Sa Calobra is fast becoming popular with hikers and those seeking authenticity. Tourists have two options: a rocky cove at the end of a typical Tramuntana mountain road, right next to the small parking lot. The second, made of pebbles, can be discovered at the end of the Torrent de Pareis route or by following a gentle path, after passing through a cave.
4. Cala Llombards (Santanyí)
This secluded beach, surrounded by steep cliffs and rocky areas, as well as pine trees and bushes, has white sand and wonderfully clear waters. Its secluded location makes it ideal for swimming with small children. Popular with local residents, it also attracts an increasing number of tourists, especially Germans who rent luxury holiday villas nearby. The charm of this cove is also reflected in the few fishermen's cottages along the cove.
5. Cala des Mago (Calvía)
This cove is an area of fine white sand, with calm and generally shallow waters. A small thicket with tall trees surrounds this part of the coast, which almost touches the crystal clear waters, inviting you to take a swim. The left shore is sandy, while the right is formed by gently sloping rocks. Ideal for relaxing, it is protected from wind turbulence by its natural walls.
